Country newcomer Bridgette Tatum, along with Danny Myrick do their thing in the Last.fm Discover studio. Their musical partnership struck big when they teamed-up to write Jason Aldean‘s smash “She’s Country.” Now Bridgette is set to hit pay dirt with her own release.

Click through to watch the duo perform the Aldean hit as well as “That’s Love Y’all,” “Hold On To Me” and “Hillbilly Rockstar,” then check out our interview with Bridgette and Danny.

Bridgette Tatum has no problem whatsoever going outside the boundaries when writing or recording a song. She and Danny Myrick proved that it could work when they penned “She’s Country” for Jason Aldean. Even Jason was reluctant at first, but the decision to do it proved right. When your musical influences range from Aerosmith, Garth Brooks, AC/DC, KISS, Grateful Dead, Jerry Reed, Johnny Cash, Buck Owens and gospel music, in my book, Bridgette can go wherever she wants, musically. Heck, she also made many scratch their heads when it was decided that she and her band would be recording in a brand new studio in Las Vegas of all places. At the end of the day, I'm a Country music singer. That's my love. That's where I found the honesty to write in. That's where I found the room to be able to do what I do.

Co-writing partner and producer Danny Myrick solidifies Bridgette’s musical diversity adding that her iPod will segue from Hank Williams Jr. to Ludacris. That shouldn’t confused a Country music fan, it should make you appreciate how open Bridgette is, musically. The ability to mix it up and take you on a musical journey is what makes Bridgette electrifying.

Tatum is busy gearing up for the release of a self-titled six-song E.P. on September 28th and will unleash her brilliant debut album in the spring of next year. I absolutely love the “dirty” sound of her music…and Bridgette hopes you will too. For more on Last.fm Discover visit: www.lastfmdiscover.com
